Back in March I went to the Franck Provost salon in Emporium Melbourne to get a hair treatment done (see post here) and I was chatting to the staff who explained that they specialise is balayage hair dying... well I have wanted to lighten my hair for a while now in a low maintenance way so I booked in!
Above is the before and after photos. The staff did have limitations with my hair since it had previously been dyed a deeper brown and had colour build up at the ends so they couldn't go too light. I also had an Olaplex treatment to fix some of the damage caused by the bleaching and my hair feels a teeny bit drier that it previously was, but it doesn't feel overly damaged and still healthy.
Overall the staff were fantastic, the process (including a cut) took around 3 hours, and I am really happy with the overall effect. It is fantastic having a new hair colour that I won't have to maintain!
I also vlogged the day if you want to check it out below:
You can also check out their facebook page for more information and don't forget to use the hashtags #bonjourmelbourne and #franckprovostmelbourne to share your new hair or search for some hair inspiration.
A big thanks to Simon from The Skincare Obsessive for being my photographer and helping make the time fly!
