Franck Provost Paris Melbourne Experience
April 7, 2016
I was lucky enough to be invited to the Franck Provost Paris salon in Emporium Melbourne to get a post summer hair revival treatment done and I thought I would let you know my experiences.
Before I go on I wanted to apologise for the poor quality (but expertly taken - thanks Simon) photos in this post. I think my camera must have accidentally been on a low setting and ended up a little grainy. Next time I go to the salon I will make sure to take better quality photos.
Franck Provost Paris is a salon that is relatively new to Melbourne but the brand has been around for 40 years. The Melbourne salon's master stylist Virginie helped me pick a hair treatment best suited for my hair and recommended the Diamond in salon treatment that is exclusive to Franck Provost Paris salons. The Diamond treatment is designed for colour treated or highlighted hair and can tone the hair, take away brassiness, extend your colour as well as create a glossy shiny finish. This glossy finish is exactly what my hair has been needing after a hot summer and way too much heat styling which has left my hair quite frizzy and dull.
The treatment didn't take too long, they need to wash your hair and apply the treatment for around 10 minutes and then wash off. Clearly you can see that I was enjoying myself with my glass of champagne. I then had my hair blow dried and my hair felt amazingly soft, shiny and strong.
Franck Provost Paris also offers other hair treatments like Olaplex (which repairs broken bonds within the hair, which become broken from dying and bleaching) and the L'Oreal Professional Pro Fiber System which repairs damaged hair.
After having a conversation with Virginie about the services offered in the salon I also found out that they are renowned for their balayage hair dying... so guess who booked themselves in *points out myself*... yep, I am jumping on the balayage band wagon.
Overall I had a fantastic experience at the Franck Provost Paris salon in Melbourne's Emporium. If you are after a hair treatment, a hair cut or a hair colour then definitely check them out. They are located on Level 1 right near Kryolan.
You can also check out their facebook page for more information and don't forget to use the hashtags #bonjourmelbourne and #franckprovostmelbourne to share your new hair or search for some hair inspiration.
A special thanks to Simon from The Skincare Obsessive for being my photographer for the day.
