It's officially March, which means that in Australia it is now autumn! I feel like I completely wasted summer as I didn't once go to the beach or the pool, but as a consolation I can now start dusting off the scarves and start wearing smoky eyes and berry lips during the day. Now that it's March it also means its time for February favourites! As per usual I will be going through my favourites in this post, but if you wanted to see my fails for February then check out my February Favourites and Fails video here.
I will start with the random beauty products before I get onto the makeup favourites. I have firstly been loving the Hask Macadamia Oil Moisturising Shine Hair Treatment that I got in the Priceline haircare bag earlier in the month. There are a few hair oils from this brand available and they come in these small 18ml viles that retail for under $5 each. Not only is this hair oil super effective at making my hair soft without weighing it down, but it also has a beautiful warm vanilla scent that leaves your hair smelling lovely. Another favourite Priceline purchase was the Nip + Fab Skin Glycolic Fix Scrub which is a harsh but not scratchy scrub that has a really refreshing grapefruit/passionfruit sweet zingy scent - definitely my new holy grail scrub! Then a quick mention of the Hand Chemistry Intense Youth Complex which I have featured in a favourites before (it's my holy grail hand cream) but I have upgraded and invested in the 240ml pump bottle this month. Then last random beauty favourite is the Calvin Klein CK2 fragrance which has quickly become one of my favourite perfumes in my collection. This is a new gender free fragrance and claims to have a "urban woody fresh" scent with notes of wasabi, mandarin, violet leaf, wet cobblestones, orris, rose, vetiver, incense and sandalwood. All I can say is that it smells fresh and clean (wet cobblestones is probably pretty accurate), and for a soft clean fragrance it actually lasts on the skin all day - which is very rare!

Onto makeup! The eyeshadow palette that I have been obsessed with this month is the Zoeva Nude Spectrum Palette. This contains 15 shades and retails for under $50! The amount of product and the quality of the shades is amazing, BUT what I love most about this palette is that it is mainly a bronze palette and it's quite rare to find nude palettes that contain a variety of bronze shades. As I wear bronze shades as my main eyeshadow on a daily basis, this has been a palette that I have been reaching for often.

Now for lip products. My go to nude this month has been the Chi Chi Viva La Diva Matte Lipstick in Sex Bomb. I am a fan of the Chi Chi matte lipstick formula in general but I think this shade has been my perfect my lips but better lipstick. It isn't as brown or as dark as MAC's Velvet Teddy (which I also love) so it's a little more natural looking and it goes with more makeup looks. This would be a great cooler weather nude since it has a slight mauve undertone. Secondly I have been loving the new range of the Rimmel London The Only 1 Lipsticks. I was sent 6 shades and I will no doubt be picking up more when I see them on sale. They have a beautiful hydrating, pigmented and long lasting formula that is really hard to find in creamy lipsticks. This is a no fuss lipstick that I can easily wear to work without having to often check if I need to reapply. They also have a really sweet watermelon scent that I personally really like.
