Stay Lean Tea - 14 Day Detox

Thanks to the lovely people at Stay Lean Tea Australia I was given the opportunity to trial (and giveaway!) a 14 Day Tea Detox Program.

Now I was interested in this program for two reasons:
1) ever since working a desk job I have been continually gaining weight, lacking energy and feeling bloated and;
2) I have been interested in tea detoxes but have been put off by teas that contain laxatives or teas that taste gross.

Stay Lean Tea is a great natural tea detox program that has programs for 14 days or 28 days. The 14 day program is currently on sale for $39 (down from $45).

In the 14 day program you get both Lean Burner tea (x14) and Lean Cleanse tea (x7).

You take the Lean Burner tea every morning for the 14 days and it is supposed to help suppress appetite and boost metabolism. You also take the Lean Cleanse tea every second afternoon and it helps to clean the digestive tract and detoxify.

The Lean Burner tea contains: Blend: Longjing green leaf, Pu'erh Tea Leaf, Dandelion Leaf, Lotus leaf, Lemon Grass, Oolong leaf, Goji Berry
The Lean Cleanse tea contains: Longjing green leaf, Chamomile, Chrysanthemum, Rose flower, Lavender, Roselle, Lemon Grass.

Now the first thing to mention about this tea detox is that is tastes really good! I am not a huge herbal tea drinker, and I often thing some herbal teas taste like grass, but these two teas were actually really lovely to drink. One of the most impressive thing about this tea program is the quality of the tea, and you can even see the great ingredients when you look at the tea bags.

I also must admit that I have had a pretty stressful couple of weeks since starting this 14 day detox and often found myself forgetting to take the Lean Cleanse tea in the afternoon and sometimes even remembering to drink it at 10pm at night or skipping it all together. So I didn't stick to this program as well as I would have liked, BUT I did notice that even though I have been eating rubbish and lacking sleep, I haven't felt as gross and bloated as I might usually feel, and I do think it's because of this tea! If you were dedicated to this detox I do think you could see some great results... and also enjoy the tea in the process.

  2. Would love to try this tea! I had a bad reaction to the laxatives in a previous teatox I tried which was painful! The fact that this helps with appetite and is laxative free is very intriguing to me
