It's a month away from Christmas (wtf?!) and admittedly I have done virtually none of my Christmas shopping, BUT I have a bunch of great gift suggestions and I will be posting a few Christmas gift idea posts in the next few weeks.
I thought I would start with scented products because scented products are always a great option for someone who has everything. I know I can always appreciate a beautiful candle or perfume.
Let's start with Tanda candles. This is a really fun range of soy wood wick candles that are hand poured in Melbourne, and I am particularly excited about the designs of these candles and also the various containers they come in (check out the concrete candles - I'm dead! I want one of each scent!). I have the large candle in Tahitian Lime & Coconut which retails for $44 and is a permanent candle. There are 10 scents in the permanent range and you can buy them in four sizes (small, medium, large and luxury triple wick) and in different types of jars (regular glass jars, concrete jars, amber apothecary jars and porcelain paper cups). There are also really fun limited edition collections which include Christmas candles and also a cities collection which have scents inspired by different cities (and of course I want the Melbourne one).
Next soy candle offering is from Urban Rituelle, which is also an Australian brand that has a huge range of different scented candles and body products categorised in collections (I also have the fragrance in Cotton Candy from the Sweet Treats collection and even though it is super sickly sweet, it is a-mazing!). The 2015 Christmas collection contains two scents - Fresh Fig & Sugar Plum and Warm Cinnamon & Cranberry - and they have released large soy candles, small soy candles (which is what I have), soaps, and travel set gift packs. These candles have beautiful sweet warm scents that really sum up Christmas and would make perfect stocking stuffers or Kris Kringle presents. These small candles retail for $17.95 each and my personal favourite is the Warm Cinnamon & Cranberry.
Lastly we have the Molton Brown fragrances which have recently been released. When I think of Molton Brown I think of really unique and sophisticated scent combinations - and these fragrances are no different! There are eight scents available and they have been based on some of Molton Brown's most popular body collections. I have Re-Charge Black Pepper which is a very unisex scent that is spicy, woody and citrusy and starts out very peppery but settles to a beautiful warm scent that lasts all day. I can get a little headachy from very heavy scents, but this one is so perfect and I cant get enough of it. These scents retail for $88 for 50ml so if you are like me and you struggle to spend $40 on a beautifully scented shower product that is going to disappear down the drain, then I highly recommend investing in the fragrances! These are available online or at David Jones. These are also perfect for a gift because the boxes look so classy.
What scented product is on your Christmas wish list this year?
