Hey lovelies! I was contacted to trial and review the service of FreshFlowers.com.au and of course I jumped at the offer because I am obsessed with having plants and flowers in my house!
I'll quickly start with the service and a bit about the website and then I will talk about what I got delivered and my overall thoughts.
You can order via the website or call 13 37 37 to place an order and they deliver flowers to to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. You can also arrange for same day delivery for these major cities, as long as you order before 2pm on a weekday or 10am on a Saturday (they don't deliver on Sundays and public holidays). You can also nominate what day you want it delivered if you didn't want same day delivery. Do note that the flowers will be delivered up until 5:00pm to business addresses and 7:00pm to residential addresses, and mine arrived at around 4-5pm.
Most flowers fall within the $50-70 price range, but there are a few cheaper options and more extravagant options. Standard delivery is an additional $10.
Since I was given the opportunity to order for myself, I decided to choose the Florist Pick Phalaenopsis Orchid which retails for $49.95 and comes in a white ceramic pot. You can also choose the plain white or the plain purple orchids, but I liked the idea of letting the florist pick the colour to add a bit of surprise. I ended up getting send some beautiful white and purple orchids.
When you are ordering the flowers you also have a box to enter in what you want typed on the card... and I decided to have a little fun with it.
Overall I am very happy with my new hall table flowers and am impressed with how easy this whole process was and I would definitely recommend the service if you wanted to send someone flowers as a gift (or of course send yourself a gift). This is the type of website that I would recommend to bookmark for those occasional where you need a good quality last minute gift idea! I might keep the details on the fridge in case my boyfriend every needs inspiration!
