Valentines Day to Night

February 8, 2015

Valentines Day is around the corner, and even though I personally don't celebrate it, I thought it was a great excuse to play with makeup and create a girly day time date look and then transform it into a more glamorous night time look. I filmed this tutorial so check out below how I created these two looks.

I used the following products to create a long wearing base:

Arbonne Makeup Primer & Perfecting Liquid Foundation in Buff
Make up For Ever Full Cover Concealer in 7 Sand
Maybelline Matte Maker Mattifying Powder in Natural Beige
Benefit BrowZings in Light
Anastasia Brow Wiz in Brunette

To create the simple girly pink day makeup I used:

MAC Prolong Wear Paint Pot in Utterly Becoming (limited edition, but similar to Painterly but a little darker)
Lorac Mega Pro in Light Pink and Mauve
MAC Fluidline in Blacktracks
Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara
Arbonne Taffeta Blush
Stila Kitten All Over Shimmer Duo - using the light pink shade
Burts Bees Lip Crayon in Carolina Coast & Lip Gloss in Nearly Dusk

Then to turn the day look into a night look I used:

Daiso Beauty Eyelashes (I forgot to photograph the Duo Lash Glue in the Dark Tone)
The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer
NARS Laguna Bronzer
Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Pomegranate
BareMinerals Eyeshadow Quad in The Dream Sequence - using Nightcap

  1. This was really great, thanks. I do really like the look of that Bite pencil.....might have to go to Sephora after all.

  3. Ah, I loved this Kat! The day-to-night was a great idea for a tutorial. That Arbonne blush and Burt's Bees lip products are all such pretty pinks and I'm especially smitten with Bite Pomegranate. What a perfect red! :)
