Over the last few months I have been loving injecting some colour into my normal neutral boring eye look by using a bright blue liner. Here are my top 3 picks for bright electric blue liners.
By Terry Khol Terrybly eye pencil in 9 Royal Navy: This was the liner that sparked my love for the bright blue liner look. This is a super creamy, almost paint like, pencil liner that is a beautiful bright cobalt blue shade. The best thing about this is that it is super pigmented and is waterproof so you can use this as a typical liner or you can even apply this to the waterline for a slight pop of colour. This is the most expensive out of the three (but it is worth the splurge) and costs $46 at Mecca Cosmetica.
Kryolan Cream Liner in Sky Blue: Cream/gel liners are my personal preference for a liner so I was super happy to find this gem. This is a bright blue that is slightly lighter/more pastel looking than the other two. Just like the By Terry liner, once this sets it is budge proof and you can also use it as an eyeshadow base. This also contains a whopping 6g of product and costs $32... which is much better value than the MAC Fluidlines that cost $32 for 3g of product. These also come in a great range of colours.
Revlon Colorstay Skinny Liquid Liner in Electric Blue: This is my most recent purchase and my current obsession! This is a liquid liner that is ridiculously pigmented and is the most amazing shade of almost neon blue! I get so many compliments when I wear this shade. The felt tip applicator is also very fine and is perfect for a precise application. This is so easy to use and I am utterly in love, the only downside is that this isn't waterproof and is very difficult to use on the waterline. Nevertheless, this is my current love and I highly recommend it for anyone who is wanting to try a bright blue liner. This retails for $25.95 full price, but I bought it on sale from Chemist Warehouse for $15.
I did a video review of these products and I also demonstrated how I apply the Revlon liner. Check the video out below if you want to see how it applies!
