Milk & Co Face Cleanser and Body Scrub

After dealing with dry irritated skin, from a harsh cleanser I was using, I was on the lookout for an affordable natural skincare brand... and I happened to stumble across Milk & Co!

Milk & Co is an Australian natural skincare company started by Michael Klim (the Aussie swimmer) and his wife Lindy Klim. I had heard of this brand a few years ago when they focused only on male skincare, but they have more recently expanded to a Her range and a Baby range. The Her range isn't quite as large as the Him range, but it does contain the basics like a cleanser, moisturiser, body scrub, makeup wipes, a body oil, and face mask. The Her range is also 95% naturally derived. The packaging design is a modern sleek block design that I actually really like (it would also be perfect for storage or packing). Each range has similar packaging but the colouring is different - you can check out all of the information about each of the ranges on the Milk & Co website.

The two products that I have from the range are the Face Cleaner and the Body Scrub.

The Face Cleanser is a light gel cleanser that contains goji fruit extract, yalng ylang oil and hibiscus flower extract. You can find a list of the ingredients here. I love gel cleansers so I was excited to find one that is natural, effective, and non drying or irritating. This also smells amazing! It has a fresh herbal lemonglass-ish scent and it is gorgeous! Rarely do I find a cleanser that I look forward to using, but this is one of them. My only possibly negative is that it is quite runny. I recommend this to anyone who likes gel cleansers but doesn't want something harsh or stripping. This retails for $16.95 for 150ml.

The Body Scrub is a gel product that contains fine exfoliating particles. It contains aloe vera, rose hip oil, coconut shell, lavender oil, and cinnamon bark oil - you can find a full list of ingredients here. I normally like a really harsh body scrub, but I think this scrub provides a great middle ground that most people will enjoy. This scrub contains enough particles to get an effective scrub, but it is finely milled so it's not harsh. The scent of this is hard to pin point, it has an almost herbal apple cinnamon scent (maybe). This retails for $14.95 for 375ml.

I rarely find such an affordable and natural brand that I really enjoy, so I am VERY happy I stumbled across Milk & Co. I will no doubt be buying more of the Her range in the near future, and I will be getting the boyfriend into the His range... actually, I have been looking at the His range and I really want to try the His Cleansing Face Wash and the Dry Touch Sunscreen for myself!

I bought my Face Cleanser from Miss Pearl Store (which has free shipping in Australia!), but you can buy this range from Priceline, Coles, Woolworths, Terry White Pharmacies, and of course the Milk & Co website where you get free shipping on orders over $50 (Australia only).

  1. Thank you for this Kat! I've been looking forward to see what you think of the face cleanser as I am really bored with my Biore combination skin cleanser. However, I'm a little bit apprehensive changing my cleanser because I might get break outs and such; but, once I finish what I'm using, I might give Milk a go. Overall, great review! :)

    1. I like to mix it up because my skin tends to get used to skincare if I use it too much. I think using a gentle gel cleanser like this would be great, but if you break out (hopefully you won't) then maybe introduce something like La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo

    2. I'm also doing my research on La Rohe Posay Effaclar Duo because it seems interesting as well and thanks for the tip about mixing it up.

  3. I'm currently using their make up remover wipes which I really like because they're freaking huge!
I love cinnamon scented things so I'm going to have to have a whiff of the scrub.

  7. I've heard so many good things about this brand! I've also heard Priceline will be having a 40% off skincare at the end of this month so Milk & Co will be in my basket for sure :)

  8. Great reviews! I wouldn't mind trying the facial cleanser! I have that body scrub and I really love the smell for the winter months and I like the level of exfoliation that you can achieve with the coconut shell. Lovely post.
