Hello hello, I have finally received my June, (that's right, June) Bellabox. I received this on the 11th of July, but I don't blame Bellabox for this, I mainly blame Toll because the postal bag said that it was picked up from Bellabox (in Kew) on the 20th of June... and it took them a whopping 21 days to ship 9.5km to my place in Brunswick East... they could have walked it to my place in less than a day! Aaaanyway, onto the box.
If you aren't familiar with Bellabox, it is a monthly subscription box that costs $15 a month (cheaper if you order a 12 month subscription). If you want to check out more information about Bellabox, then you can visit their website here.
The Bellabox was quite full this month, and it even came with the June In Style magazine (which retails for $9.95) which was a nice bonus!
The theme was Iconic Beauty and you can see the information card above (click on it for a close up).
Garnier BB Cream Normal Skin Light - full size: This is a full size product and it retails for $13.95. As I have oily skin, I won't use this... but if you can use this then it is a great bonus to find in the box. I might try be cheeky and try to swap this for the oily version, as that is my favoruite BB cream of all time and I have run out of it.
Herbal Essences Naked Shine Shampoo and Conditioner - 40ml samples: These are great deluxe samples of shampoo and conditioner that you could probably get 3-4 uses out of. This would be great to bring for a weekend away (hello IMATS weekened). I rarely buy supermarket shampoos and conditioners, but I actually quite like Herbal Essences. These are free from silicone, parabens, and dye... so if you are looking for an affordable silicone and paraben free haircare, then this may be a great option. This has a pleasant fruity scent.
La Clinica Gly C Refine Gentle Moisture Day Cream 5% - 10ml sample: This is a hydrating moisturiser that is also supposed to help address signs of aging, acne marks and damaged skin. Since I am getting older, I love skincare that minimises aging, but I also still get pimples... so I can't wait to try this! It is a great sized sample too since the full size is 50ml and retails for $45.
Nutrimetics Nutri-Rich Instant Radiance Beauty Balm - 2ml sachet: I hate sachets, but I am keen to try this! It is a moisturiser that retails for $50 for 50ml, so this tiny sample is $2 worth of product!
Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme - 7ml sample: I have the full size of this hand cream, so I clearly know what it's like. The full size is 57g, so I thought I would show the comparison. This is a thick and moisturising hand cream that has a strong almond scent. This deluxe sample would give you a good trial of this hand cream. I did a full review here.
Rosehip Plus Rosehip Oil Skin Boost Roll-On - full size: Lastly is another full size product, it's a roll-on rosehip oil. I love rosehip oil, so I was excited to see this, however I find the roll-on application quite strange. If you are using this on targeted areas (like scars) then I can understand how the roll on can work well, but I use rosehip oil like a serum, so I am unsure how this will work for me.
Overall I was pretty happy with this box. It is very skincare heavy this month, but the value was great. There was two full size products, a magazine, and five sample products, and in total this box contains just over $52 of value! That's not bad for $15, definitely worth the wait.
What did you think of this box?
