Hey hey! I was contacted by Lip Monthly to review this new subscription box. Lip Monthly is a subscription box from the US that primarily features lip products, and it only costs $10 per month. Like most international subscription boxes, you need to also pay for shipping - for it to be shipped to Australia it costs an additional $6.

About a month ago Urban Outfitters were having 20% off beauty products, and I thought it was a great opportunity to try out some Anastasia Beverly Hills products! Anastasia products have just started trickling into Australian online stores, but they aren't cheap so I thought I should order a few products while they were on sale. I also managed to pick up a sneaky Stila product because the price was just too good to pass up!

Sorry for the lack of posts this week... I have been picking up more shifts at work and I haven't had a chance to take photos of some new goodies that I have been buying lately.

Anyway, I thought I should review a hand cream that has become a staple in my handbag/at my work desk lately. This is the Kosmea Rose Hand Cream, and if you are a long time reader of my blog you would know that the Kosmea is my favourite brand of rosehip oil - I need to have the rosehip oil in my bathroom at all times!

This Rose Hand Cream is a new product from the Kosmea range and it retails for $19.95 for a 50ml tube. You can check out more details at the Kosmea website, and you can also buy Kosmea products at Terry White Chemists and David Jones.

The packaging comes in a nice clean white plastic tube that has pink packaging design (which ties in nicely with the rose theme of this hand cream). The tube is thin, sleek and fits nicely into any handbag.

The product itself is a luxuriously thick rose scented hand cream. My hands have been pretty dry lately (thank you winter), but this has been my saviour. This is thick and hydrating cream, but it blends beautifully and doesn't leave your hands feeling tacky or greasy. This is everything I look for in a hand cream and whenever someone tries it (does anyone else feel the need to offer hand cream to other people when you are using it?), everyone makes a "mmmmm" sound and asks where you to buy it.

I know this is a quick mini review, but I thought I should share my latest hand cream love. I would love to see this hand cream released in more scents... if this was in a lemon scent, I would be a very happy camper!

What's your favourite hand cream?

I have always wanted to be one of those bloggers that is able to review new collections of makeup that come out. I am not quite at the stage where I can afford to buy large amounts of products from every new MAC collection, but this Alluring Aquatic Collection was an exception.

I have been meaning to do a blog post on the brand Colour Theory for a while now, and what a better time than a Sunday night in while watching season 2 of Orange Is The New Black. This is a post mainly targeted to people who live in Australia and are looking for some cheaper alternatives to popular makeup shades/products.

I loved May and I am sad to see it go! It was the month of my birthday, my mums birthday, I went up to Sydney for Talia's birthday, I bought a new car... and it was just an all round fun month. Admittedly, I did spend waaaay to much money in May, but on the up side, it means that this favourites post contains a lot of my exciting new purchases!

I popped my By Terry cherry the other week. By Terry is a super super high end brand that you can buy at Mecca Cosmetica, but it's really obscenely expensive. While I was drooling over the eyeshadow pencils in Mecca while I was in Sydney, I saw this eyeshadow pencil and I had to have it!
