Enbacci Vitis Vinifera Rejuvenating System

March 15, 2014

I thought I should share a new Australian high end skincare range that I have been trying over the last few weeks. I was lucky enough to be invited to a Enbacci blogger event where I was able to take home these products to trial. I previously hadn't heard about Enbacci, so I am very grateful that I was invited to learn more about this new brand.

The Enbacci website describes the Vitis Vinifera Rejuvenating 3 step system as:

Enbacci has developed a unique skincare range utilizing the technology of fruit stem cells. In particular, we have developed a range incorporating grape stem cells, which reduces the appearance of ageing due to exposure of environmental stresses.

The grape stem cells are extracted from a cultivated grape of the Gamay family (a purple-coloured grape variety most known for its use in the production of red wine). This particular variety of grape was selected, as they are very high in anthocyanin, which are powerful antioxidants and free radical scavengers.

I have been using these for a few weeks so the product level in the bottles are lower :P

This 3 step skincare system contains:
  • Vitis Vinifera Rejuvenating Gel Cleanser
  • Vitis Vinifera Rejuvenating Essence (a toner spray)
  • Vitis Vinifera Rejuvenating Essential Creme (the moisturiser).

The first thing that I think deserves a mention is that the packaging is gorgeous. I love the choice of colour, I love the clear bottles and the silver lids, and all round they just feel like good quality products. The packaging is made out of plastic, so it is travel friendly (and lucky because my kitten has knocked these off my sink a few times), but the packaging still feels heavy and good quality.

The products themselves are really nice and light, and after using this three step system alone, I did notice that my skin was significantly softer in only two applications. The scent of these are light and the cleanser and toner almost have a fresh tea scent and the moisturiser has a lemonaide icypole scent. The cleanser is a gel cleanser but it doesn't feel like it dries out my skin. The toner is a spray so you can use it as a toner or to refresh your face throughout the day. The moisturiser is very light and is designed to be a day and night moisturiser. Even though the moisturiser doesn't contain a SPF, I find that it mixes very easily with sunscreen. The only thing that I find is that this moisturiser is probably too light for a night cream for me, but then again I have quite dehydrated skin so it may be hydrating enough for skin that is properly hydrated. Together, this system works amazingly if you want an anti aging product that leaves your skin nice and smooth.

The only downside to these products is that they aren't cheap. The Vitis Vinifera Rejuvenating Gel Cleanser retails for $64, the Vitis Vinifera Rejuvenating Essence retails for $69, and the Vitis Vinifera Rejuvenating Essential Creme retails for $103. When I found out the prices, I started using these quite sparingly. Sure, these do work really well and they contain grape step cells that contain high levels of antioxidants, but I am sure the price tag will put some people off.

Would I repurchase these? Actually I would, I would probably repurchase the cleanser because I love how fresh and light it makes my skin feel, and I would consider repurchasing the moisturiser to use as a day cream. I do like the toner, but it's the one step in my skincare that I often skip so I probably won't invest in it. If I had more disposable income, I would have no hesitation repurchasing this skincare system over and over again.

If you love high end skincare and you are looking for a new 3-step system then check out the Enbacci website where you can buy these products, hand creams, a scrub, a mask, and a pore minimiser (which will be my next purchase from Enbacci).

  1. so it is currently an online only thing?

    1. It is also in some select places like spas

  2. Great to hear your thoughts - I'm excited to share mine soon too. Totally agree about the packaging!

  3. Oh my....It's really expensive but glad to read you liked the cleanser and moisturizer....xoxoxo.....:)

  4. I was waiting for your post after seeing all the photos from the event on Insta :) I don't mind investing in skincare products but I'm a 'try before I buy' type person so I'd probably hunt down a spa before purchasing - it's nice to know that this brand is worth the high price tag though!
