David Jones The Balm gift with purchase

August 7, 2013

I saw this being advertised on The Balm Australia's facebook page yesterday. I have had Mary-Lou Manizer on my wish list for a while now, so I couldn't get this deal out of my head! I think I even had a dream about it last night! I did a bit of research about both of these palettes this morning, and I decided that I have to go to David Jones in my lunch break!

So if you spend over $27.95 on any of The Balm's products and David Jones and you can get one of these palettes worth $49.95.

I ended up picking up the Mary-Lou Manizer and I got the Shady Lady Palette Volume 2. You only need to spend $27.95 to get this palette for free, but the highlighter was $34.95. Even though I honestly don't need these products, it was great value for $35!

I will do a full review of these products as soon as I have a chance to take some clear swatch photos!

Will you be checking out this deal?

  4. I saw that yesterday and it's definitely the best value deal in the whole DJs beauty catalogue! I'll try to refrain from purchasing though ... simply because I have way too many eyeshadows (and everything else) and not all the colours in Vol 2 or 3 are totally up my street. But I do want to try theBalm eyeshadows - I don't have any in my collection. The highlighter is very glowy and has a really nice texture!

    1. Yeah, I liked the look of vol 2 more, but there are some shaded that I will rarely use. They are good eyeshadows though!

    2. I ended up getting this deal anyway, haha - fail :p I got one of the blushes with it (Frat Boy) and also Vol 2. I'm not really taken by any of the eyeshadow shades but they are nice quality and overall it was a good value deal :)

  8. Thank you for posting this - ran out and bought it last night, and DJ's had a sample bag for $20 with any full priced cosmetics purchase, that included loads of skincare and a few makeup items including a fullsize Revlon colourburst balm and a small sized OPI varnish - so for $48 walked out with a massive swag.
