Random Coloured Autumn Nail Look

April 7, 2013

For this nail look I took inspiration from MissJenFABULOIS's March Favourites video (see video here), where she said that she has been liking taking two similar colour, a white, and a glitter and applying them randomly to her nails for a Spring look. Since it is Autumn here in Australia, I decided to do the same thing but with more Autumn shades.

I used the Rimmel Lasting Finish polish in the shade 170 Lively Lilac instead of a white, Sportsgirl Nail It! polish in Goddess as the glittery shade, and Bourjois No Chips polish in the shades 21 and 19 as the two similar shades. I used two coats of each shade.

As per usual, I used a base coat (Sally Hansen Triple Strong Nail Fortifier), a top coat (Sally Hanesen Mega Shine Top Coat), and China Glaze Fast Freeze Quick Dry.

I applied the colours randomly, just making sure that I didn't apply the same colour twice in a row.

I really like this look, its easy to do and looks quite striking. I would also love to try this with different nude shades and a glitter... next time!

Hope you had a great weekend x
