Quick Lip Product Rave! Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid with Organic Lemon Oil

February 11, 2013

If you are a Priceline member, you would have no doubt received a $5 off voucher for any Lanolips lip product. If you haven't used that voucher then I urge you to go out and use it now! I was at the shops and decided to bring my voucher along, I was originally going to buy a coloured gloss, but I couldn't go past this lemon oil version. This originally costs $15.95 for 12.5g which sounds like quite a lot for a lip balm, but this is worth it, and a little goes a long way so this will last for ages!

I am a lip balm gal, I love lipsticks and lip stains, but I always reach for a lip balm on a day to day basis, and oddly enough, I tend to reach for clear balms more than coloured balms. When I saw this one in the shop, I couldn't go past it, it smells amazing, just like lemonaid icy poles! This is also an Australia product, which is good to see. This definitely rivals lip balms like Carmex or Burt's Bees, and more people should know about this range! This is made from lanolin which is a product in sheep's wool, which is quite unique for a lip product, but clearly it works!

You can buy this at http://www.lanolips.com which ships internationally.

This contains lemon oil which is designed to naturally exfoliate the lips, while the lanolin hydrates the lips. This is also animal cruelty free which is always good to see.

The packaging is a simple squeezy tube that doesn't have a typical lip gloss applicator. This actually works quite well because the product is very thick, and I like being able to apply it with my finger.

You can see that up close this has a bit of shimmer to it, this is not noticeable on the lips, it just appears quite shiny but natural.

This stuff is addictive! It smells great, it feels nice, and it makes my lips super soft! This is very thick, but you only need a little amount and it glides on your lips beautifully, it also leaves absolutely no sticky feeling whatsoever! This is pretty much a faultless lip balm in my opinion, and I can't wait to try more of the range!

Have you tried anything from the Lanolips line?

  1. I love my lanolips! I am so so glad to see you promoting it too :) It's really an amazing product!
I just spent my priceline voucher today on some cuticle cream by burt's bees :)Maybe I'll use my lanolips voucher next time I'm at priceline :D

    1. Which lanolips do you have? Good choice with the cuticle cream, I adore the smell of that!

    2. Hey :) I have the coloured version with SPF 15 in "rose". It's a lovely natural looking pink gloss. The smell of the cuticle cream is so yummy! Sorry it took me so long to reply!

  2. The flavour sounds incredible! I rarely try new lip products because mine are really sensitive and dry out easily but this looks rich and moisturizing!
