Wear all the nail polishes! Bourjois nail look

January 13, 2013

I was planning on painting my nails last night, and I often tend to use Bourjois 10 Day No Chip polish because these are guaranteed not to chip for a good 4-5 days... I honestly have no patience for chipping nail polish at the moment. Anyway, I couldn't choose which shade to use, so I decided to use all of them! I do have 10 shades of this range, but one of the nude shades (shade 13) is really sheer, so I decided to leave that nude out and just use the opaque nude on two nails.

Shades 26, 17, 14, 11, 25, 21, 19, 16 and 15
So the shades above are all of the shades I used, and the order I used them in, but I repeated shade 14 at the end. So the first mauve shade is whats on my left little finger, the dark pinky red is on my left ring ringer and so on and so on.

Shade 14, 15, 16, 19 and 21 on the thumb
Shades 25 on the thumb, 11, 14, 17, and 26

I thought this was a fun way to test all of the shades, and I think it looks quite fun. I will no doubt do something like this again.

Ps. I have found out that trying to take photos of both of your hands at the same time is really hard to do!

Hope you have had a great weekend!

  1. Love this multi-coloured look! The mix of different shades and warm and cool tones really works. Looks great! And kudos for taking a photo of both hands :)

  5. Ahhh, this is so pretty!

I haven't tried the 'no chips' nail polishes yet but I definitely want to add some to my nail polish collection... number 14 looks lovely! I bought a pale colour a couple of months ago (Revlon's 'pale cashmere') a while back but it applied really sheer... it took around four coats to make it opaque. But I definitely want to give number 14 a go.

I also love number 25. So bright! :)

  9. I love multicoloured nails, and I think this combination looks great. You usually I just see rainbow multicoloured nails, I really like that this isn't in any order. I like the look of 25 and 26 the most. I'm also impressed you managed to get both your hands in the shots!
