Purple floral nail look using Face Of Australia Pastels Nail Enamel in Boys 'N' Berries and Konad stamper and plate m71

December 5, 2012

I thought I would do a quick nail look today, since the weather is pretty overcast and horrible for taking photos of swatches, and I boy braces put on my top teeth today, and my mouth isn't super comfortable at the moment, so I will leave lip swatches to another day.

I have been loving the Face Of Australia Pastel Nail Enamel range (see the four I have here), and I have been wanting to do a nail look with the shade Boys 'N' Berries for a little while now. I was umming and ahhing about whether to use my dotting tools and to do a pastel dotted nail look, or if I should use one of my Konad nail stamping plates that I haven't yet used. I decided to go for the stamped look.

So I used the Face Of Australia Pastel Nail Enamel in Boys 'N' Berries, the purple Konad stamping nail polish, and the Konad plate m71. I used the floral pattern that you can see on the bottom left of the plate in the photo above. If you want to see more about how to use the Konad stamper, then check out the post I did ages ago.

I was quite happy with how this look ended up, it's very subtle but I think that makes it look really sweet and not too in your face. This is also a really good patten because if you smudge it or mess it up a little but, then you can't tell too much because it isn't a really graphic bold print.

What do you think of this nail look?
