Kitty cat nail stamping look!

December 23, 2012

I bought a couple of new nail stamping plates from ebay a few weeks ago for $4 each, I use one of the plates to do a candy nail look (see post here), and this was the second look that I was really excited to do.

I used Mirenesse Bullet Proof Nail Laquer in the shade Flapper Pash as a base colour... I originally wanted to use a blue base, but I also wanted this look to last a long time, and none of the blue polishes that I have are long wear nail polishes, so I went for this polish because I know it lasts a good 4-5 days with minimal chipping. Then I used the white and the black Konad polishes for the stamping, and the Konad stamping kit. The plate I used is not a Konad plate, but if you search ebay for "stamping plate QA40", it will come up.

So I use these two designs for this nail look. I first used the solid shape of the cat and stamped that on my nails in white, and over the top of that I stamped the shape below it in black.  I did this to my nail and ring finger on both of my hands.

This is a very easy way to make your nails look really cute - perfect for cat lovers!

  1. That is so cute I love cats so I would probably do a grey and brown cat because of my cat Vivian. I really like this, at first I thought nail stamping was sketchy but then I see your post It looks amazing!

  2. This is so cute! I'm a sucker for anything kitty-themed, so I will have to check this out! :)

  3. How cool! I didn't even know these things existed for nail polish art :p I love how it's really unique and fun, and as you say, perfect for cat lovers :)

  4. That is ADORABLE.

  5. Oh my goodness this is just too cute! I am going to need to get myself one of these plates!
