Korres haul: Pomegranate Regimen Kit, Lip Butter Glaze Trio and Raspberry Antioxidant Liquid Lipstick Trio

November 22, 2012

About two weeks ago I did a post about a special that strawberrynet is having, which had a lot of Korres packs for sale (see post here). Well of course I ordered a few packs, and I thought I would do a quick haul post. So these are all from strawberrynet.com and the Pomegranate skincare kit was $11.50 and the two lip trios were $10... all of these packs are still available on sale at strawberrynet.

All of these products are travel sizes and these are designed for oil and combination skin.

This pack includes:
  • Pomegranate Cream Gel 20ml/0.68oz
  • Pomegranate Mask 20ml/0.68oz
  • Pomegranate Scrub 20ml/0.68oz
  • White Tea Fluid Gel Cleanser 20ml/0.68oz
  • Evening Primrose Eye Cream 10ml/0.34oz
I haven't used any of these products yet, but I might do a more in-depth review down the track.

So this pack contains three liquid lipsticks in the shades #13 Soft Pink, #56 Red, #28 Berry. These apply like lip glosses but are very pigmented and act as a lipstick. I am not sure how long these wear yet, but if you want a full review of these, as well as lip swatches then leave a comment below. On first impressions these apply really evenly, and a little product goes a long way. These are not at all sticky and smell sweet.

I think I was most excited to get this pack, as I am a huge fan of the Korres Lip Butters, with my favourite being the Jasmine. This comes with the shades Jasmine, Pomegranate, and Raspberry. I like the tube packaging more than the tubs, but these products are quite different from the original lip butters. The lip butters are slightly thicker in consistency and have less pigment than these glazes. Both of these are hydrating and last quite a long time on the lips.

The thing I like the least about these lip butter glazes is that they all smell like vanilla, and the name refers to the colour, not the scent. I much prefer the scent of the lip butters in the tub because they all smell different, and the jasmine scent is amazing. The thing I like most about these lip butter glazes, is that they are more pigmented than the butters, so they look nicer on the lips, and they are easier to apply. I am not sure if I prefer lip butter in the tub, or the lip butter glaze in the tube more... but I do miss the Jasmine scent.

Pomegranate Lip Butter Glaze, Pomegranate Lip Butter
Here is a quick comparison with the Pomegranate Lip Butter Glaze and the Pomegranate Lip Butter. you can see that the glaze is much more pigmented and coral toned, and the butter is heaps more sheer, and is more pink toned. I find that the added pigmentation makes the colour last longer and more evenly than the butter.

If you would like to see any in-depth reviews on these products then make sure to leave a comment below with what products you would like a review on. Also I bought a second Lip Butter Glaze trio pack for a possible future giveaway!
