FOTD engagement party

November 18, 2012

I have been pretty busy this weekend - worked two 7am shifts, went to an engagement party and am just about to head off to a barbeque... so sadly, I haven't had any time to do any reviews this weekend. I decided to take a few photos of the makeup I wore to the engagement party last night because and I know a few people have asked for some FOTD posts, so here goes...

Ps I find it really awkward taking photos of myself, so sorry if they look funny... also ignore my messy room with clothes everywhere, I am moving house at the end of the month, and I am slowly packing.

I wore a strapless blue dress from Sportsgirl, and with my hair and makeup I felt a little like this:

What I used:

Face:
  • OCC Skin Primer
  • Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation in the shade Fresco mixed with OCC Tint in the shade Y2 (see review here) to add a slight dewiness
  • Laura Mercier Mineral Pressed Powder in Tender Rose
  • Sleek Contour Kit in light - for contour and highlighter
  • Jordana Blush in Sandalwood (see review here)
Eyes:
  • Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Wheat as the primer (see review here)
  • Jordana eyeshadow in Creamy Vanilla (see review and swatches here) - for all over lid colour
  • Jordana brow/eye shadow powder in the shades 01 Natural Taupe, 03 Light Brown, 04 Brown (see review and swatches here) - for crease and outer corner
  • MAC Fluidline in Blacktracks
  • Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara
  • Smashbox Artificial Light Luminizing Powder - for inner corner
Eyebrows:
  • Benefit Brow Zings Brow Shaping Kit in Light (see review here)
  • Prestige Brow Perfection Clear Gel
Lips:

Ta-da! That is my FOTD for the engagement party I went to last night! Let me know if you want to see more of these, or if you want to see any reviews of the products I used!

Thanks for reading x
