Bourjois November Gift With Purchase

November 9, 2012

I went to the shops today and I picked up one of these Bourjois gift with purchases, which is available from Priceline until the 19th of November. Normally when these come out I skip them because usually I already own a product or two in the bag, but this time I had none of these products... and I have been eyeing off the bronzer for a while.

So this says that you need to spend $25 or more to get this, but the signs in Priceline were saying that you only need to buy $19 worth of products. I bought this Contour Clubbing Waterproof liner in the shade 41 Black Party for $21, which I thought would be good for the waterline and tightline.

So the items you get in this bag are:
  • Délice de Soleil Bronzng Powder in 14 Olive/Tanned Skin - normally $30
  • 3D Gloss in 03 Brun Rosé - normally $22
  • So Laque Nail Polish in 27 Beige Glamour - notmally $12
So this is gift is worth a total of $64, and the best thing is that I will get use out of each product! Also the bag is actually a really good size, if you are familiar with the Lust Have It makeup bags, this is probably a good 20-25% bigger, which I think is the perfect makeup bag size.

I love the packaging of this bronzer, not only does it come with a brush, but the mirror is epic! The overall paging is quite streamlined too... the whole thing is slightly smaller than an iPhone. I think this will come in handy for people who like to reapply makeup during the day, because you can literally see your whole face in this mirror! I love it. The mirror swivels too, which is strange, but may come in handy.

The product itself is a very smooth texture with good pigmentation, this bronzer looks quite matte but has a slight gold shimmer to it... you may be able to get away with using this as a contour as well. This bronzer can be quite dark, so I will need to apply this with a light hand.

You can probably see from the swatches above that the lipgloss is a semi-sheer gloss with a little bit of shimmer. The shade is a neutral dusky pink, and adds a little bit of colour to the lips but still looks quite nude.

The So Laque Nail Polish in 27 Beige Glamour is a medium toned browny pink. It is a very work safe colour, and may be a little bit boring for some people. It defititely needs two coats for a even colour.
Note: I did end up putting a third coat on, which made the nail polish look quite a lot darker than what the photo above looks like.

Are you a sucker for a gift with purchase? Will you also be heading to Priceline to pick this one up?

  1. I was going to buy this from Priceline but I've decided to skip it as I won't really use what's inside the GWP. I'm hanging out for one of their 50% off sales :)

  3. I have that eyeliner and it's alright. Not that waterproof and not the blackest I have used. The bronzer looks fab though! I must admit I have been eyeing their bronzers for a while...

  4. Great GWP, I think I'll give this one a miss though because I already have the bronzer. I have that nail polish in another shade and it's amazing! Really opaque and doesn't chip easily.

    1. This is a pretty cheap way to get the bronzer though, spend $19 instead of $30 and get the whole pack!

  6. I got this today, I was going to buy the bronzer, but why buy the bronzer for $30, when I could just buy a blush for $20 and get what I actually want for free! Amaaaazing value :)

  7. I'm really interested in the bronzer which I've been meaning to buy for ages. The lip gloss and nail polish I could probably live without. I haven't seen this at the Pricelines I've visited - maybe a good thing to avoid temptation LOL

    1. haha yeah, I got it purely for the bronzer, the lipgloss will be added to the pile, but the nailpolish is a pretty work appropriate shade so it may come in handy.

    1. Its slightly sticky, but its not annoyingly sticky. It doesn't last the longest either... it claims to be 8 hours, but it is probably 2 hours if you dont eat.
